Pomki Embroidery- Where a Pom merged into a Kiwi! (Pomki)

Hey, I'm Sarah.
Welcome to Pomki.
This is my little embroidery studio in Rakaia. Just me, my machine, and thread everywhere!
I am a Brit living in Kiwi land. A mum of two boys, with big ideas.
That is exactly where the name Pomki comes from:
  • Pom = Brit
  • Ki = Kiwi
  • Pom-Ki
I am both, and this business is both. Every single piece is made with Brit fussiness and Kiwi heart.
You might have known my old shop, Humunculus. I closed it in March 2025. It was the hardest thing I have ever done. But now I do what I truly love: just stitching, and just making beautiful things for lovely people.

How I Do It
  • Made to Order: Everything is crafted by me, right here in my Rakaia studio.
  • Complete Quality Control: I use a single commercial-grade machine, meaning I control every single stitch. If an item isn't 100% perfect, it doesn't leave my doors. I would rather completely redo it.
  • No Yes = No Stitch: I will always send you a digital design mockup first. You check the spelling, you check the date, and you give the green light. You will never get a misspelled name!

What I Love Making
  • Super Soft Lambs & Grey Bunnies: Personalized, cuddly, and my absolute best sellers.
  • Custom Baby Onesies & Bibs: Adorable mix-and-match clothing sets stitched in your choice of colors.
  • Cozy Embroidered Blankets: Beautiful, warm blankets customized with a baby's name.
  • Birth Announcement Bears: Cuddly nursery time-capsules stitched with all the special newborn details.
  • Custom Gift Bags: The perfect personalized packaging to complete your special present.
  • Cheeky Tea Towels & Apparel: Playful kitchen designs and school gear—like the 73 fleeces I just stitched for Allenton School!
Got a weird or unique design idea? Or want to look at something else entirely? Good. I love weird, and I stitch lots more than just this list!

Thank You for Being Here
When you buy from Pomki, you are directly supporting a solo mum in Mid Canterbury. You help pay for school shoes and keep this little dream running. It truly means the world to me.
Love,
